This is a preview of a photo shoot inspired by The Endless, the main characters in Neil Gaiman’s series The Sandman. Mark and I and a group of good friends got together one Saturday, played dress up and shot a series of character portraits.
These are portraits of Dream, the brooding Sandman himself, and his older sister Death – most times perky, sometimes moody and always, always around.

Dream
.
“People think dreams aren’t real just because they aren’t made of matter, of particles. Dreams are real. But they are made of viewpoints, of images, of memories and puns and lost hopes.” – Neil Gaiman, Preludes and Nocturnes

Death
.
“It won’t make a lot of difference, in the long run, will it? One by one, you will all come to me.” – Neil Gaiman, Endless Nights

More photos of the other Endless (Destiny, Desire, Despair, Destruction and Delirium) to be posted soon.
