Remember when Karina was an intern in the studio and we made her do animation stuff as a summer project. Well she’s been doing more of that since joining us in the studio (we’re a trio now!) and has been getting good at it. Like this bit, for the Bakunawa animated short we are doing […]

Here’s a little tribute we made to Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon. Have a great week! Good Journey Neil Armstrong! from Happy Garaje on Vimeo.
Meet Ryan. Illustrator, designer and also known as the buccaneer Mauser.
He’s been helping us recreate Fighter – who we all know is the famed character/mascot from Fighter Wine.
We made our own interpretation of the character but also kept some of the best features from the original.
Fighter’s two-step guide to stretching your fingers. 1. Bend, 2. Snap.
Since the character is going to be animated in some television spots, we had to create various poses for him. This is Fighter with all the arm poses. Looks freaky/cool no?
A man shouldn’t be all muscle. He should be charming too.
A book trailer we did for Collateral Consequences.

Our new year’s greeting card 🙂
A few months ago we signed up to join a fun film project that was masterminded by Irish Filmmaker Frank W. Kelly called 140. Largely inspired by Twitter, a social media platform that lets you put out messages 140 characters at a time, the idea was to have 140 different filmmakers, each shooting 140 seconds
We’ve been experimenting on a little animated/stop-motion film at Happy Garaje. This is the first few seconds of it. We’re still playing around with the story and hope to shoot more soon. In the meantime, this little newspaper boy is poking around the studio with Moko the monster 🙂
